Resurrection Sunday
The despair of Friday is over. Death couldn't hold our Lord, and because of that, it has no power over us!
This Easter, we explored Luke 24 and discovered something breathtaking: when the women arrived at Jesus' tomb, they found two angels standing beside the empty burial spot—just like the cherubim on either side of the Ark of the Covenant's mercy seat. The sacrifice was complete. The presence of God is now with us forever through the risen Christ.
Jesus didn't just appear to comfort His followers—He opened the Scriptures from Moses through the prophets, showing how everything pointed to Him. And when He broke bread with the disciples on the road to Emmaus, their hearts burned within them. Does your heart burn when God's Word is opened to you?
The resurrection isn't just historical—it's personal. Every shame, every guilt, every debt has been paid. You can live in freedom and hope because He is risen indeed! Now we get to share this life-changing message with a world desperate for hope.
