Micah 1-4
What happens when a nation turns away from God, choosing sin simply because it can? That is the sobering question at the heart of the book of Micah, where God's prophet delivers a message of judgment to both the northern and southern kingdoms of Israel -- a message that echoes loudly in our own time.
Yet even in the harshest warnings, God's heart is not one of cold justice alone. He weeps over his people. He longs for their return. And woven through every word of judgment is a stunning promise: restoration is coming. A day when the nations stream to Mount Zion, swords become plowshares, and the Lord himself reigns in peace (Micah 4:1-4).
The same message Isaiah proclaimed. The same hope we still hold today.
Judgment is real. But so is redemption. And for those who belong to him, the final word is always restoration.
