Week 4: Stretching your Faith

Oct 4, 2025    Josh Colegrove

In this exploration of faith, we dive deep into Hebrews 11, often called the 'Hall of Faith.' This chapter reminds us that faith is the foundation of our spiritual journey, the very substance of things hoped for and evidence of things unseen. Through stories of biblical heroes like Abraham, Moses, and Rahab, we see that true faith isn't about our own abilities, but about trusting God's promises and acting on His commands, even when they seem impossible. The fall of Jericho's walls stands out as a prime example of how victories for God rely on faith, not on human strength or logic. This message challenges us to step out of our comfort zones, to trust God's plan even when it doesn't make sense to us. It's a call to action, reminding us that our faith grows when it's tested, and that God can use us powerfully if we're willing to obey Him in faith.
