Luke 6:27-36

What if the hardest thing God asks of us is also the thing that proves we understand what He did for us? In Luke 6:27-36, Jesus calls us to love our enemies, pray for those who persecute us, and give without expecting anything back. Not exactly easy words to hear.

But here is the reality: every one of us was once an enemy of God. And while we were still in that place, Christ went to the cross for us. The debt He canceled was impossible for us to repay. And what He went through to forgive us far outweighs anything we have to do to forgive someone else.

If we struggle to let go of what others owe us, it may be worth asking whether we truly grasp what Christ let go of for us. Join us this week as we dig into what it really means to love like Jesus loved. #LoveYourEnemies #Luke6 #ForgivenessMatter #ChristLikeLife #SundaySermon
