Luke 6:12-19
Do you know Jesus -- or do you just know about him? There is a difference, and it changes everything.
The Gospels are not simply a record of what Jesus accomplished. They are an invitation to know him personally -- to see how he treated people, how he responded under pressure, how he pursued relationship before he ever issued a call. He hung out with Peter before he called him. He saw Nathanael before Nathanael saw him. Relationship mattered deeply to Jesus, and it still does.
Through Scripture, we have something no other faith tradition offers in the same way -- a God who revealed himself, put on flesh, and let his closest friends write it all down so that we could know him too. Not just theologically. Personally.
If you missed this week's message, find it and listen. Come ready to build something real -- not inherited faith, not church attendance, but a friendship with the one person worth knowing. John 14:9, John 15:26-27, Luke 6:12-19.
