Luke 6:20-26

What are you really seeking from this life? In Luke 6:20-26, Jesus speaks directly to his followers — offering blessings to the poor, the hungry, and the persecuted, while issuing serious warnings to those chasing comfort, wealth, and the approval of the world.

The warning is clear: if you get everything you want from this world, that may be all you ever get. Jesus never promised ease or prosperity. He promised something far greater — freedom from death itself and a reward that lasts forever.

If the world has no friction with you, it is worth asking how closely you are following Christ. Truth is naturally offensive to a world that rejected Jesus first. Standing for that truth, without apology, is exactly what he calls us to.

Join us as we continue through the Gospel of Luke and get to know Jesus more deeply — his love, his warnings, and his desire to bring you into his kingdom.
