The Magnificat: Luke 1:39-56

The God who holds the universe in the span of His hand chose to enter our world as a single cell. Before Jesus took His first breath, before He had a heartbeat, He was already holding all of creation together while developing in Mary's womb.

Luke's Gospel reveals something breathtaking: worship of Jesus began before His birth. Elizabeth recognized Him. John the Baptist leaped for joy in the womb at His presence. Mary magnified the Lord, calling the One she carried her Savior. This is the most humble act in all of history—the eternal God stepping into time, into human development, into our brokenness.

We can't comprehend the incarnation fully, but the more we grasp who Jesus truly is, the more we love Him. He didn't just die for us—He became one of us in the most vulnerable way possible. That's the gospel that changes everything.
